How to Use Coach App on Fitbit Watch

Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa come with the coach app, an interactive application that can aid you during your workout. This paid subscription app offers you unlimited access to audio coaching and video workouts to keep you motivated and to ensure that you follow due procedure while exercising.   1. Open the Fitbit Coach app on your watch, it is depicted with a star icon.
  2. Go through the list of available exercises, tap on the top right menu to get a preview of the workout and select accordingly.
  3. Once you have made the selection, tap on the Play icon present on the bottom-right corner. This will start a 10-second preview. You can skip the preview by tapping on Play again.
  4. Your watch will vibrate indicating the start of the workout. The same vibration indicates the conclusion of the workout. You can see the statistic (like calories burned, time taken, etc.) at the end of your exercise.
  5. If you wish to take a breather or pre-emptively end your session, you can do so by tapping on the Pause button located on the bottom-right corner.
Default Workouts The Fitbit watch comes with three in-built workouts:

  • 7 Minute Workout
  • Treasure Chest
To gain access to more workouts, you need to create a Fitbit Coach account. With the free version, you are eligible for one personalized workout with two recommended exercise regimes on your watch. The personalized exercises show up after you have given a Fitness Test. Once you complete your personalized activity, the watch will refresh, and you will have a new fitness challenge. Furthermore, the paid subscription opens up the avenue for more workouts.
