How To Manually Transfer Songs From iTunes to Android?

If you have just shifted from iOS to Android, then you might wish to get the songs located in the library of iTunes to your Android handheld. Or you might want to transfer your iTunes songs to a friend’s Android tablet or mobile. There are a number of ways through which you can do so. You can upload the files on the Google Play Music app and then access them via any device. However, you may not always have the internet and well; spending valuable data on uploading music is not everybody’s cup of tea.



Hence, if you have a USB cable and a laptop/computer, then you can do this manually without needing an internet connection. Here are the steps for transferring iTunes songs to Android manually:
  1. Power on the computer and right-click on the iTunes program on your desktop. From the list, select Open.
  2. In the iTunes screen, just highlight the audio clips you wish to transfer. Select one or several from the list given. After highlighting, their color will become dark indigo.
  3. After highlighting the songs, right-click on them. From the list, click on Copy option.
  4. Now, close the window and get back to the desktop of the PC.
  5. After this, you need to create a new folder. Just right-click anywhere blank on our desktop and move the cursor to New. Select Folder. Just name the folder.
  6. Double-click on the newly made folder present on your desktop.
  7. Now just paste the copied songs in the folder. You can press Ctrl +V to do so.
  8. Let all the songs get moved to the Folder. The songs will start showing in the folder.
  9. With the help of a USB cable, just connect the phone to the PC.
  10. In a few seconds, the computer will identify the connected phone.
  11. Go to Computer and click on the Android device drive. From the list in the folder, locate Music. You can also use the Search to find the same.
  12. After that, all you need to do is click and drag all the songs located in the folder present on the desktop to the Music folder. You can copy the songs found in the new folder and paste them in the Music folder in the Android drive.
  13. Wait for the process to complete. A window will show the status of the file transfer.
  14. When the files are transferred, you need to remove the Android device which is connected to the computer. Right click on the Android drive’s name and click on Eject.
  15. Now, all the music from your iTunes will be located in your android phone or tab as well.
If you do not have a cable or a computer, then you can use third-party apps such as Twist or sync the songs via AirSync. Several applications are available on the Google Play Store.
